Worked with clients to create a branding system that included a logo and templates for stationery and on-screen presentations. Held initial meetings with clients to address their needs. Followed up with changes until project completion.

• UH System Basic Needs Report. University of Hawai‘i System 2022. Worked with clients to create a report showing the basic needs of college students attending the University of Hawai‘i system. Revised graphs and organized data for aesthetic and logical flow. Communicated through virtual meetings. Followed up with client regularly until completion of the project.

• Hawai‘i Health Data Warehouse (HHDW) Letterhead and PowerPoint templates. Office of Public Health Studies, UHM 2022. Worked with clients to create templates for stationery and on-screen presentations. Held initial meetings with clients to address their needs. Followed up with changes until project completion.

• Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death Strategic Response Plan 2020–2024. College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources 2020. Worked with the client to create a report designed to show the effects of Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death on the islands’ forests and the importance of continued funding by state agencies.

• Unstable housing education poster. Hawai‘i Department of Education. 2020. Created the Illustrations and layout for an informational poster highlighting educational options for houseless individuals.

• Reef and Algae diagram. Our Place in Intertidal Hawai‘i (OPIHI). 2020. Engaged in multiple client meetings and research. Created final illustration.

Worked with the University marketing department to create a series of banners intended to promote the campus as a fun and safe place of learning. Met with clients and printer to coordinate optimal sizing and material for posting banners in high wind and sun-exposed areas.

• CRDG Summer Programs Print It! course. CRDG 2015. Planned, coordinated, and taught a summer course for students aged 12–18 in using professional software and principles to create a variety of printed projects and prepare them for a career in graphic design.

• Exploring Our Fluid Earth, online. CRDG 2013–present. Met weekly with marine science educators to create illustrations for the online marine science resource. Researched content for scientific accuracy.

• Character mascot. Koaloha Ukulele 2015–present. Meets regularly with marketing teams to develop a character mascot and illustrated story. Interacts with other media artists. Developing character design and storyboards.

• The Makery logo. CRDG 2015. Created a project logo for a training course in using computer-controlled mills and 3D printing.

• Nā Koa Ānuenue athletic logo. Ānuenue 2011. Met with the athletic director and Hawaiian cultural expert to create a logo for a Hawaiian immersion school’s football team. Researched cultural artifacts and conferred with experts for accuracy.

• The Physical Geology: The Science of Earth. Charles H. Fletcher. John Wiley & Sons Inc. 2011. Worked with scientists and other educators to create illustrations and infographics. Researched other sources to confirm the accuracy of drawings.

• Pacific Buddhist Academy (PBA) athletic logo. PBA 2009. Met with the athletic director to create a logo for the school’s basketball program.

• Lincoln Exhibit invitation and program. Hawaiʻi State Public Library System 2009. Researched the history of Abraham Lincoln. Created invitations and program for a Abraham Lincoln exhibition.

• Safe Ears brochure campaign. Honolulu Sertoma Club 2008. Worked with audiologists to create a brochure targeting middle and high school-aged students to show the dangers of loud noises and how to protect themselves. Researched and illustrated diagrams. Created the final layout which was submitted and approved by a panel of experts.

• Pac-5 identity system. Pac-5 Athletic Association 2007. Met with the athletic director to create an entire identity system for a variety of sports. Coordinated with coaches to apply the logo to sports equipment and uniforms.

• Working ‘Round A Problem logo and packaging. CRDG 2006. Designed a container to hold mathematic flash cards. Created the logo and packaging design. Coordinated with printers in China.

• Consolidated Annual Performance Report. CTE 2006, 2007. Worked with clients to create an annual report including cover graphics, graphs and tables, and layout. Coordinated production between client and printer.

• Research Retrospective for the College of Education, UHM. COE 2005, 2006. Designed the annual book on research for the COE. Coordinated with the printers to select paper and finish of the publication.

• Values for a Democratic Society dvd video editing. Go For Broke Foundation 2004. Edited interviews of veterans to fit on this promotional dvd highlighting stories of World War II veterans.

• FASTer project cameraman and video editor. CRDG 2004. Took video and worked alongside the videographer capturing classroom video. Involved in the initial planning and final editing of the videos.

• Safe Schools Seminar and School Safety briefs. Berg, K., Langford, R. DoDEA 2003. Researched and created the final packaging for the project binders. Illustrated the cover and inserts. Created the packaging of the CD and DVDs.

• FASTer. CRDG 2000. Programmed and developed an interface that allowed teachers to access interactive textbook content through a browser with limited Internet access.

• TITEC 1998–1999. Participated in planning meetings and developed solutions for distance education modules for use in DODEA schools. The final deliverables included illustrations and interactive animations. Created whale morph simulation, ecology web and chain simulations, Caribbean fish, invert and shell identification cards, and a series of simulations for a Visual Basic course. Met regularly with the team of media creators and content experts to create a variety of interactive media for use in distance learning courses. Programmed interactive simulations. Participated in the planning of the final presentation in Garmisch, Germany to stakeholders from the various DODEA schools.
